One of our Seven original Clans (Dodem), the Crane (Ajijaak) represents wisdom and equal communication for all Anishinaabe. The Crane (Ajijaak) is also known as Baaswenazhii (Echo Maker) because they would sound their voices to gather our people for Ceremony, Council, and Celebrations.
