TUK NUNA
Taqialuq or Tuk Nuna is the son of another Inuit artist Sharky Nuna. Sharky Nuna was killed whilst hunting walrus in 1979. Tuk Nuna was born in Cape Dorset, Nunavut Territory, Canada in the year 1958. For his work he enjoys working with animals and using multiple figures in his sculpted scenes of the arctic wildlife.
Produced his first carvings at the age of 8 after being encourage by watching his father.
